UNIFO

UNIFO is a Technology company that has built a Digital Platform that enables Supply Chain Players across the world to collaborate in real time. UNIFO’s Digitization Engine with proprietary architecture can eliminate Data Entry in Supply Chain. UNIFO had physical servers running their applications. These servers were hosted in a 3rd party datacenter. The company was unhappy with services provide by the third party DC on account of performance and support issues.

Precision proposed AWS services to the customer to overcome these issues. We recommended EC2 instances for hosting their applications and database and provided Managed services support to manage the environment. The migration to AWS environment delivered a dramatic improvement in application performance and Precision’s managed services support ensured that the customer faced no support related issues. Today, the customer is considering only AWS for any additional workloads to be provisioned.

Crystal HR

Crystal HR is one of the topmost HR consultancies in Chennai. With a strong background in HR consulting, the company specializes in advising clients on framing and structuring of HR policies. Their HRMS application is provided as a SaaS offering to their customers. Crystal HR had their application hosted out of a Singapore Datacenter and they have a backup of this at another DC in Europe. The application caters to more than 200 customers (and the list is growing). Crystal HR faced challenges in scalability, reliability and support and were seriously evaluating alternate options. DR was also another issue as currently the hosting service provider only provided backup which was not real time

To address these issues Precision proposed AWS EC2 instances for production workloads and Cloud Endure for DR. Provisioning of AWS services ensured scalability, performance and reliability aspects were taken care of. Precision’s Managed Services support (24/7 support) ensured that all support related concerns were taken care of. Now the customer is very satisfied as the organization can now focus on its core business without having to worry about IT infrastructure bottlenecks.
